On Wednesday, 14 September 2016, members of the Port Elizabeth Gang Task Team arrested a 16 year old at his house in Helenvale.
On 6 March 2016, the suspect and a friend shot at the complainant (19) while he was in Leith Street, Helenvale.
The victim sustained two gunshot wounds.
The suspect appeared in court on 15 September 2016 and remains in police custody for further investigation.
